Child hates bedtime

My D5, hates bedtime, she’s got better at it though recently and we no longer have massive tantrums at bedtime, but say if she wakes up in the night for the toilet it’s an absolute pain getting her back to bed she cries she screams she kicks off and when it’s 3am I don’t have the patience to be calm and it just ends up everyone fighting, how do I get her to not hate her bed??? Like she’s gonna regret it when she’s older when she’s tired n can’t sleep whenever she wants 😆 (not sure if the topic tbh)

In the day time when happy can she explain what bothers her in the night or about her room? Maybe she’d like to decorate it and get new bedding she’s picked etc? Does she have special cuddly toys? Can she leave and come and find you easily in the night so she knows she’s not alone?

saw a video of someone saying their grandad used to give them a ‘magic bedtime gummy”… (it was just a sweet). But it worked. The placebo actually worked. The kid felt calmer straight away
