I am frustrated. Today we got a letter for DS 12 to have his second orchidopexy in November after the surgery decided the right side would come down on its own about 18 months ago. We asked them at the time to just do both sides so he wouldnt need a second surgery. They said they would monitor him and now is having another surgery. While he is also having phimosis surgery on 18th September. I didnt think it was a stupid thing to ask why they cant do it together. The secretaries are saying because its two different surgons he will just have to have them at differnt times. He is already scared of the next surgery because it hurt so much last time + some compications. I dont even know how to explain to him that it will be different this time

They were probably just hoping that he wouldn't need surgery again, they will only want to do it if it's absolutely necessary.

My son had 3 surgeries within 2 weeks and then his 4th surgery 8 months later. It's now possible he will need another surgery, we'll find out if he's getting a referral in about 3 months. It's been 10 months since his last surgery.

It's really, really hard. I hope his surgery goes well and is complication free.
