Hi all,

My DD has had what we think is a mild case of HFM. On Thursday she was sent home from nursery with a fever. I gave her calpol, she did a big vomit and has been fine ever since. Sores have appeared around her mouth but no where else. They’re starting to crust now but she’s eating, drinking and playing like normal. Do you think she’ll be ok to go to nursery tomorrow? We also have a party to go to later I’m not sure if I should keep her at home?

It will have been 4/5 days since initial fever.

Thank in advance.

Info on the NHS website here. Hand, foot and mouth disease - NHS https://share.google/0WSpYpeKYn3qVltdP

If you scroll down it says no need to keep off nursery if the child is well in themselves 🙂
