Bladder pain

samvimesboots · 03/09/2025 13:41

My DD 9 keeps complaining of bladder discomfort after weeing. It doesn't burn or direct pain; she describes it as a heavy feeling.

She's had two UTI tests both negative.

Could anyone suggest what else it could be? I was thinking perhaps hormones or psychological as I've had peri related bladder weakness (I tried to keep it from her but she'll have picked up on my worry about myself)

Should I take her back to the doctors?

Thanks

It sounds like a uti to me, current testing methods are scarily inaccurate.
Have her urine samples been sent to a lab for testing?

Thank you for your response. Both times was a dip stick done at the appointment. I'll go back and ask for more tests
