My daughter (10mo) has CMPA and a soy allergy. She's also had what appears to be contact reactions to corn and corn products.
She's had horrific eczema of seemingly every variety.
She's been seen by a private dermatologist and is under the care of the dieticians and has had a referral to the allergist.
A weird symptom she has, that occurs when she eats anything and that has stumped the medics, is that she gets red blotches on her face. Small dots (always one and sometimes more with it), flat, red, don't seem to bother her at all.
She gets red around her eyes when she drinks breast milk (from a bottle) but any and all food results in red spots on her cheeks which resolve shortly after she's finished eating (within the hour).
Has anyone got any idea what this is?
