Ds8 has what we think is glue ear. On ENT waiting list but it's months and months long so on our own really. So after any advice please. We've tried OTOVENT , antihistamines , vicks, massage- although not done this much, will do steam now it's cooling down after summer.....

My 12 year old has glue ear. He's been seeing ENT since he was 1, had 2 sets of grommets and has had hearing aids since he was 8.

Thanks @elliejjtiny it's so annoying isn't it! Its affecting everything. Ds saying he won't have grommets as scared being put to sleep so that should be fun too! So nothing works- just wait for ENT?

Yes, ENT have been a nightmare for waiting lists, for appointments and operations. That's partly why we moved to hearing aids. Grommets worked better but they fell out after 6 months and then we had to wait for the fluid to build up again and then wait 9 months on the waiting list for more grommets. He ended up spending more time on the waiting list than being able to hear properly.
