Our 9-year-old had his circumcision done about 18 months ago. He was in a fair bit of pain for about 2 weeks and another 2-4 weeks of being very sensitive. He had surgery over the summer, so he managed to avoid wearing his undies for 2 weeks and another 2 weeks of wearing them now and then. It's a very sensitive surgery and takes weeks if not months for the willy to get used to the new normal. He was sensitive now and then for about 2-3 months afterwards. Surgery-wise, it's okay, takes about an hour. Sunny's surgery happened just after the summer holidays started, so he was okay to roam around the house bottomless. In the last 18 months, he has had 1 UTI, when, before surgery, he had 6 in 6 months. Hope all goes well

Thank you! I have been looking at all the options, but we don't think there is any but surgery! Just on a waiting list now to find out when it might be
