Optician refering to hospital

Please help!! My dd went for eye test this morning as she said shes seeing dots, had routine eye test said could be floaters, hour later I got a phone call from them saying the have seen a bleed on the picture of the back of her eye and they are referring her to hospital an appointment will follow with in next couple of weeks now im really worring at what it could be she said she wasn't overly concerned but it needs checking what could it be

I had the same as an adult. It settled by itself but I had investigatations to see if there was any underlying cause, which there wasn’t.

I hope it all turns out to okay for her.

I have had the same experience as @Lifelover16. All was well.

Not much help but when my eldest dd was 13 she had a eye test and they found something abnormal and we had to take her the hospital same day for mri. All fine in the end . Although has to have check ups.
But maybe its a good sign that you didnt get an appointment same day/week .
