Infected sore under ear?

My 11 year old had a little sore under her ear and over the last 5 days it has grown to this. Its weeping and there is white where the ear connects to the face. Have been on holiday so will get to GP tomorrow but she says its painful and constantly. Its clean and have applied sudocrem but it has definitely spread. Any ideas what it could be and how best to treat. Thanks

Go to the pharmacy, it’s most likely impetigo.

That needs antibiotic cream . It does look like impetigo, which is contagious so she needs to be careful about hand washing and try not to touch it, not share facecloths and towels etc.

I had something like that behind my ear and the GP gave me a steroid cream with anti-fungal stuff in it, which cleared it right up. It does look like something that might need a prescription cream so best make a GP appt.
