8 month old delayed blinking

Hello, my daughter is nearly 8m old and she’s started doing this weird thing with her eyes- it’s so hard to explain without showing a video but it’s kind of like delayed (slow-mo) blinking, as if she’s going to fall asleep but she’s not. I took her to A&E and showed them the video but they didn’t say much but it looks unnormal and strange. Has anyone else’s child done this at all? I’m going to book her into the GP for a second opinion but was curious to know if anyone had been through the same situation with their own child.

How often does she do it? How long does she do it for?

@TwinklyNight started yesterday evening. She’ll do it a few times then be fine for a few hours then do it again. Unsure if it was a tiredness thing but she’s never done it before now.

Keep videoing it and start recording when it happens and how long it is happening for. And then go to the gp, ans ask to be referred to neurology because you are concerned that it could be some sort of seizure. If it gets worst or they last longer, straight to a and e.

Yes video it for the doctor. Hopefully it was just sleepiness. Good luck.
