MRI results - potentially epilepsy

Just probably overthinking here but....

My DS has had 2 seizures within a year (one tonic clonic, one tonic with no breathing). We went for an EEG 2 weeks ago and an MRI yesterday which were referred as urgent (done within a month). Today I have had doctors appointment sent through for end of September to see a paediatrician.

Is this likely routine? I was told at the scans they would just call with results but now I'm panicking they made an appointment.

My DS has epilepsy and I remember having an appointment after his EEG though the nurse informally said she could see seizure activity on his EEG.
They like to get them on meds ASAP just to prevent further seizures - it's not anything more sinister.
