It's hard to see (rashes always look completely different in photos, it's annoying). Is it itchy, sandpapery? Have any of the spots blistered? It could just be a viral rash and will go down and you'll never know what it was, or it might become something recognisable. Does it blanch under a glass?

R95 · 12/08/2025 14:15

I’ve done the glass test they go away, I spoke to doctor for she seems to think viral or allergy to something I’m just stressing as we are due to fly on Thursday
spots are so tiny and no blistery ones they feel as if they are under skin they don’t feel sandy papery
this is the side of his face x

Also to add he does suffer with bad eczema at the creases and groin area usually, and has a dairy allergy xx

I'd be interested to know if you find what it is because my almost 3 year old has had this for 2 weeks. He's absolutely fine in himself other than his last two back teeth trying to come through. I don't think it could be post viral in my case as he hasn't been ill recently 🤷

His ones are quite pink 🙄 but they are flat and no blisters I’m so confused honestly it’s stressing me out as well as we are meant to fly to Egypt this week x

The first pic they look a little raised like my first pic too. If the child is otherwise well in himself I would just keep an eye. If any symptoms persist or you have new symptoms then go back to your GP

It's hard to know what to think because mine also has CMPA but hasn't eaten anything new so can't be that. Haven't even tried any new products either so it can't be an allergic reaction 😅 I just figured that I'd only go to the GP if he started seeming off in any way

I only went to GP as we are flying on Thursday otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered, I wanted to cross out chicken pox etc, I did give him pizza on Saturday as we are doing the milk ladder, Sunday he had a loose poo & 1 bout of sickness fever then yesterday nothing, but since yesterday afternoon these spots have been appearing I’m just so confused 🤣
