Baby rash

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone knows what this rash could be. my baby is 9 weeks on Wednesday and she’s woke up this morning with a rash on her stomach she was bathed lastnight and we never noticed any rash so it’s definitely just came on over night.
she doesn’t seem poorly in herself but I know babies can decline quickly if something is wrong which is freaking me out.
she had a rash on her face 2 weeks ago which I mentioned to the health visitor and she said it was just a hormonal rash but this looks different to that rash.
I haven’t noticed it anywhere else on her body but when I was changing her nappy I did noticed a few little raised spots but unsure if that’s just nappy rash.
im wanting to go get her checked at the GP but I always feel so stupid when nothings wrong. Probably a good time to say I’ve got major health anxiety so I overthink everything and due to this she’s already been to the doctors multiple times 😂I have tried the glass test and I do think they are fading but I genuinely don’t know what I’m looking for when doing it 😂

Hey,

I have a two year old that’s had lots of rashes particularly when she was a baby. She’s had ones that look like this and I’ve always been told it’s a viral rash and it usually clears up in a few days. Do you use any products on her skin? She could have sensitive skin, my little girl does and we can only use certain products on her skin and in the bath.
I have health anxiety too so I completely understand! If she’s well in herself and no fever I would try not to worry but also make an appointment with the GP if you are worried.

@ivy621
we only use Johnson’s baby in her bath and the child’s farm oat derma moisturiser after the bath.
I’ve been cleaning her daily with the mustela so maybe that’s caused it. I worry so bad about absolutely everything😂she seems totally fine in herself she just sounds congested but has sounded like that for a few weeks. It will no doubt clear up on its own I just overthink and panic so always ask for advice from family but think they are getting sick of me now so turned to here instead 😂

The aveeno baby dermexa range is really good if you ever find that she has dry or bumpy skin.
If she’s been congested sounds like it probably is viral!
I totally get it I was the exact same and I still am tbh 😂

Johnson's baby wash notoriously causes dermatitis in a lot of kids. It's awful.

@beemamare
Oh really? I never knew this. What would be better to use?

My baby had these rashes on and off, plus eczema (don’t know if there is a connection). If you look for the NHS guidance on rashes it gives you examples and symptoms to look out for / what to do. But if you’re worried, I’d see the GP for peace of mind.
