Baby's skin reacting to clothes

Hi everyone!

Hope someone can help - I'm getting a bit stressed about my 7-month-old's skin. She keeps getting these red patches and seems really uncomfortable, especially around her neck and under her arms where her clothes sit.

I've been through loads of different baby grows and vests but nothing seems right. She's fine when she's just in a nappy, so I'm pretty sure it's the clothes. The health visitor mentioned it could be the fabrics or even chemicals used in manufacturing, which has got me properly worried now.

Has anyone else dealt with this? What clothing actually worked for your little ones with sensitive skin? I feel like I've tried everything from the high street but maybe I'm missing something obvious?

Really don't want to keep putting her through this discomfort but running out of ideas! Any suggestions would be amazing.

Thanks in advance x

the obvious question is - what laundry products are you using?

I'd look at your laundry regime before thinking about the actual clothes (adult with eczema).

The issie will either be the clothes are too tight and rubbing or you child has had a reaction to your laundry detergent.

Wash everything in non bio and scent free fabric softener. Run a rinse cycle before drying and where possible tumble dry to prevent air born contamination risk on a line. All advice from dd's dermatologist (she has chronic severe eczema and is on chemo to assist with her overzealous immune reaponses)
