Sore itchy red bump on scalp

Any ideas what this is? She started itching this area a couple of days ago and it’s now sore- best pic I can get. Tiny, red, bump that is now open im guessing from all
the itching. TIA.

Eczema or nits.

Thise egg shaped flakes look very like nit eggs….

Oh no really? She’s got eczema on her scalp so just assumed
it was that as until this tiny patch she’s not been itchy 🤦‍♀️

My son sometimes gets bumps like this which I think are folliculitis. I've found it's improved since we started doing showers rather than baths, so possibly caused by a bit of shampoo residue build up. Otherwise it could be some kind of insect bite. Sudocrem on it and try to discourage scratching (easier said than done depending on child's age.) Obviously check for headlice too!
