Swimmers ear?

Wondered if any of you had any preventative ideas… my son is lucky enough to have 2 holidays in the summer. He goes away with his dad first and does lots of playing in the pool. He always comes back with an ear infection which then effects our holiday together.
This has happened for the past 3 years. I wondered if there was anything I could do to prevent this. We’ve tried ear plugs but not one type stay in? Any other ideas?DS is 12. Thanks!

Have you tried the swimming ear plugs, they are completely different to normal ear plugs.

we spent many years in hotel doctors waiting rooms full of kids crying with earache. Haven’t had a problem since found this.
