So worried about Bell clapper deformity

To give a quick rundown. My DS (11) came to me saying he had discomfort down below. Took him to the GP and after an assessment they are referring him for an ultrasound due to the possibility of bell clapper deformity which increases the risk of testicular torsion. I’m silently freaking out as I have health anxiety and if it is the case then it seems surgery will be needed. My son is mainly worried about the idea of having surgery. Not sure what I can do or say to him to make him less worried about it all

I'm sorry, I don't know anything about the condition but I think the main thing here is for you to take responsibility for managing your emotions around this so you don't pass on anxiety to your son. That's really important.
Just reassure him that they're going to find out what's wrong and if he needs a small operation he will be absolutely fine.
