Normal tummy size?

Hi,
im sorry if this has been asked before. My daughter is 4 years old and has recurring chest infections and low iron. I’ve noticed over the last few months her tummy has become bigger and feels firm to the touch and she complains of tummy ache on and off too. She’s very regular with her bowel movements and rarely has diarrhoea unless she’s sick 🤷‍♀️ I’ve attached pictures for reference, she’s stood up normal btw.
does this look like a normal 4 year olds tummy or is this something I may need advice on from our doctor?

Any comments or advice is hugely appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Anna x

Hi OP, that looks swollen to me. Has your DD had a blood test to rule out coeliac disease? I only ask as my DD had similar issues and turns out she has CD.

It looks swollen to me and sounds it if it is firm to touch.

OP maybe ask Mumsnet to take the pictures down and reupload with her face cropped out? It’s best to be cautious about sharing pics of our little ones online and her face doesn’t need to be in it for people to answer Flowers

No she hasn’t actually but her appetite has decreased massively. I’ll ask them thank you!

Thank you!

ooh I didn’t think about that 🫣 How do I find someone to do that or do I delete and reupload with her face cropped out?

If you report your post to Mumsnet or email them they’ll help you I’m sure :) hope you get it sorted and your little one feels better soon!
