DD 10 - nipples are lightening colour

my 10 year-old DD is starting to grow breasts and I’ve noticed that her nipples have turned a lighter colour than they were. Almost like a layer of skin has been peeled off. She’s not feeling any pain and there’s no discharge of any kind or any sign of inflammation. Is this something that can happen with the onset of puberty?

Nipples can definitely change colour during puberty but if you have any concerns- soreness, lumps etc I’d go GP.

Thanks @whynotmereally- I’m looking out for those as I understand that’s usually when to be concerned.
