Does this look like ringworm?

Hi,
my 1 year old has had this on his back for several weeks. I’ve been to the pharmacist twice and have finished a 3rd course of antifungal and it’s not changed. They have given us 2 different types.

I don’t want to waste GPs time but it’s not shifting. He also had the rash in his abdomen which doesn’t look like ringworm to me (maybe eczema) and has also been there several weeks. He’s fine in himself, doesn’t seem to bother him. Not passed to his sibling & they have been sharing baths/ close

any thoughts? Thanks

Yes, looks like it to me. Might be worth popping to the pharmacist first, they might be able to advise without you needing a GP appointment

I think you shoukd take him to the GP.

Yes, just get some canesten cream

It could be a type of eczema (discoid) as it can often be misdiagnosed as ringworm

thanjs everyone. Interesting re discoid eczema. I have treated with 2 tubes of canestan and one of miconazole but no change
