Has anyone been seen at Guys and St Thomas and have any advice on what we can expect from our first appointment please? It’s taken almost a year from genetic diagnosis and I want to ensure we get the best/most out of the appointment after all this time.

Hello, my brother had an appointment there a few years ago after a rare genetic diagnosis. They went through everything in depth with my mum, addressed concerns and advice on support groups. My brother is still under the consultants there due to him possibly having another genetic condition that they were unable to pick up. He was diagnosed via the 100,000 genome project. Good luck
