Is this chicken pox? An insect bite? Something else?

Help! My son had a single spot appear on his arm about 3 days ago. No more have appeared since. Doesn’t appear to be itchy. No fever or other symptoms of chickenpox. But there have been several cases at his nursery. Any suggestions?

I get insect bites that are a bit yellow and lumpy so it could be that.
chicken pox tends to have a red area with one liquid bubble on it.
I also get cold sores and they look a little like that.
maybe go to a pharmacy?
sorry not much help.
