Hi I was bathing my child tonight and found this on her lower back. She has been in nursery since 7.30am and they didn’t mention anything on pick up.
it looks like scratches or fallen into something to me.
any advice?

My child had a similar looking injury from Velcro. Could there have been Velcro on clothing or an apron or something?

Also sudocrem works wonders on pretty much anything!

It looks like bramble grazes to me. I would definitely ask nursery what happened/whether she was playing outside and could have got snagged.

That must’ve hurt her and I would be FURIOUS no one noticed she was upset, or if it they did hadn’t given me a full explanation.

could she have scratched herself? My little boy is terrible at scratching and we can’t let him have access to his skin. He had bad eczema so when the itch comes he can’t help himself. No matter how many times we cut his nails and always has a bodysuit/vest on the damage he can do within minutes is horrendous
