Persistent Gland issues - ideas please

My now 12 year old has been struggling with gland issues - on reflection all her life. It is particularly in her neck - they are huge but sometimes in her stomach too. They are so painful - even with paracetamol - and she is missing lots of school.

She is quite small (we are not!) and doesn’t seem to gain weight normally. She’s been tested for coaelic (negative ) and also has had a full allergy screen. She is allergic to peanut and almond but that is well managed. She also tested recently for glandular fever but I think she would have tested positive at any point in her life.

We have been all round the houses with various doctors and now have been referred to a paed generalists. Appointment in a month. Shes proper poorly and I want to go armed with some suggestions as to what it could be so we can try to get to bottom of it.

thank you
