My 7 year old keeps getting spots on her face. She has been getting this for a good few years now. Every few months she will get a red spot somewhere on her face. It will stay for a month or two before disappearing then a few months later another will pop up in a different place! It’s not terribly itchy but sometimes she scratches it and it becomes red and doesn’t look very nice. I’ve never taken her to the doctors as they don’t bother her in the slightest. Anyone any ideas or had anything similar? Kind of looks like a chicken pox spot only flatter. I was thinking maybe molluscum or something related but they don’t have the white centre and aren’t raised. At first I thought they stuck around because she scratched them but they definitely appear to be something viral as she hasn’t really scratched this one. Would you go to the GP? It’s annoying me much more than it is her!
