She’s had them appear randomly for the past week now. Photo with the most spots was a week ago? then they’ve become less,
one spot appeared today. she says they hurt and don’t itch. any ideas?

Chicken pox

OneGiddyRubyViewer · 29/06/2025 20:13

Chicken pox definitely

Arlanymor · 29/06/2025 20:14

Pox of the poultry, undoubtedly.

itsgettingweird · 29/06/2025 20:15

Yes - chicken pox would be my guess too. The white heads are the usual giveaway!

paulhollywoodshairgel · 29/06/2025 20:17

Deffo the pox

PickledMuffin · 29/06/2025 20:22

She’s had chicken pox before though?

It’s unusual but a child can get it more than once. It doesn’t always come with a fever.

Gingernaut · 29/06/2025 20:28

Looks like chickenpox

A lot of it going round, too

UsernameChange1675 · 29/06/2025 20:28

Bed bugs

TwinMum89 · 29/06/2025 20:29

Random question - has she been in a hot tub recently?

TomatoSandwiches · 29/06/2025 20:29

I had chicken pox 5 times as a child and then shingles when I was 10, I'd put my money on the pox.

PickledMuffin · 29/06/2025 20:58

@TwinMum89 she was in a paddling pool the day they first came up?

Definitely chicken pox - my two have just had them and they had no fever etc either.

It would’ve had to be a hot tub or heated pool. Bacteria forms in the hot environment and can cause a similar rash called hot tub folliculitis that looks similar to pox. Paddling pool wouldn’t cause it.

Ohthatsabitshit · 30/06/2025 04:58

Perhaps last time she had chicken pox it was something else?
