My 9 year old has a slight lisp. My dh notices it more than I do, when ds was very small I could always understand his speech and interpret for him when other people didn't know what he was saying. Dh thinks his speech could do with improving before he gets any older but we're not sure how to approach this.
Yesterday ds mentioned to me that he feels like his jaw is not aligned when he bites down and it feels "uneven" in his words. I'm wondering can the two be linked? I said we'd ask the dentist about his jaw but that he's still growing. Any advice or experience with jaws or speech would be gratefully received!
