Had a message from preschool saying 2 kids came down with it over the weekend and to be vigilant. DD (2.11) came home today with these on her back, just woke up crying asking for medicine and has a snotty nose. Feel like I’m on high alert though..

Possibly. You’ll know by the morning as she will be covered, then they will turn into little blisters. Could equally be nothing.

Thank you - I will get some sleep and see what the situation is in the morning! We’re all not long out of Covid and praying we aren’t going into chicken pox during another sweltering weekend..

🤞!

Ahhh fingers crossed it isn't but if it is, at least you get it over and done with! With all three of mine, the run up to the spots coming out was actually worse. They were cranky and out of sorts for about 2 weeks... when the spots appeared, it all made sense. It's difficult to tell from your photo though. The spots are really distinctive and appear/spread very quickly

Possibly!

I was thinking every spot was chicken pox then my DS woke up with two on Sat morning and I knew instantly it was chicken pox.
can really tell the difference once you've seen it
