What does it mean for DD? We have been giving the news earlier DD has Sepsis one her urine system. She has felt a lot worse today and hasn’t moved out of the bed very much. She’s also so sleepy

I have had sepsis and so has my youngest son. I was very tired and not with it but that could have been the sepsis or the morphine I was on. Although I was very tired I struggled to actually sleep because the alarm on my drip kept going off.

Both ds and I were on iv antibiotics which worked very quickly. Ds was a newborn so was fairly sleepy anyway but there was a marked difference after about 3 or 4 days when he was letting everyone know that he was unimpressed at being in the nicu.

Thank you she is very out of it and struggling to keep her eyes open but like you say I don’t think it’s quality sleep
