My two year old boys ribs / chest seem to stick out. We never noticed this with my daughter when she was younger.

would you say this is normal.

No I don’t think it is normal, he might have pectus Carinatum. It’s not urgent but I think it’s worth making a GP appointment to get it checked out

That's not carinatum, it's excavatum ?? When the chest is inverted ? Don't worry too much , OP . My son had pigeon chest . We came over from Dublin and were treated at the London Orthotics Clinic in Kingston .
I know excavatum is more tricky but it will be fine .
