Baby poo… dehydration?

My baby didn’t poop yesterday (heatwave in the uk- I’m in wales) she’s formula fed. On cow and gate comfort milk with Gaviscon, has lansoperazole in the morning due to reflux as well. We are transitioning over to first infant milk by cow and gate with some carobel in to replace the Gaviscon as it can on occasion make her constipated.

she just had this poo this morning.. does the colour of the hard parts look grey ish? Is this anything to worry about?
sorry about the image!!

Gaviscon and carobel are both notorious for causing constipation. If doing good wet nappies, and feeding well, that would be my presumption, not dehydration.

I knew Gaviscon did but not carobel!! That’s why we swapped from gaviscon 😭 thank you!
we are doing everything to help fix the route problem of babies reflux which is down to her oral motor skills because of her tension and posterior tongue tie (which we’ve had cut) but just using these in the mean time until her latch is good so we can wean off the medication and get her reflux controlled 😭

Any thickener can cause constipation. My daughter needed lactulose alongside gaviscon but her poos went to rabbit droppings that were painful to pass
