Hi
My ds who is 4 had grommets out and adenoid removal 7 days ago .
Just looking for parents who has had their child hsbe same procedure and if his recovery is normal or not

He was fine on the day after surgery ate great and played happily , then a few days of pain . But he doesn't seem to be improving not eating much at all . Ears are still full of blood and his breath is so so stinky it's actually eye watering, is it normal to still have blood in his ears 6 days later and his breath to be this smelly , had him at doctors today as he was complaining of ear pain wanted to make sure no ewr infection says throat red but tonsillitis most likely to be viral and he says left ear is fine and right ear has more blood and is 90% sure no infection .
Concerned about the blood as most threads I've read the blood has resolved and no one has mentioned bad breathe a week later

Thanks

@SimbaLioness thank you, do you think the bad breath should go away after the dried blood has gone, not sure how long is too long for dried blood or if its anything to worry about
