good evening!

My DD has been suffering a
sore throat since weds; she did have a slight temperature weds evening and has been attending school due to GCSEs.
I’ll call the Gp in the morning as it’s getting worse. She’s complainIng of a feeling of a lump in the throat making swallowing difficult as well as the sore throat now.

for reference we did see a pharmacist on Friday evening after I finished work she was not very helpful and actually asked if she had tonsils while looking in her mouth 🤷‍♀️ so I don’t think she actually saw her tonsils, so I’d like a second opinion!

Any help greatly appreciated
(Best pics I could Get) 🙈

Hi Op, my DD has just had this. Call 111 for an OOH appointment tonight - it looks and sounds like scarlet fever and your DD needs antibiotics.

Thank you! I did suspect this but the pharmacist shrugged off her rash, my younger son has had it before and the rash was very similar!

I’ll try 111, unsure what they do in our area is to OOH but will
give Them a ring!

My first thought was Scarlett fever.

the rash feels rough like sandpaper.

Yes I think the same! Frustrating as we did see a pharmacist on Friday who said she didn’t need antibiotics as she couldn’t see her tonsils?
