We had to raise a PALS complaint about DDs Paediatrician & stated we did not want her involved in her care going forwards & requested a change in consultant. It’s over two weeks & we have not had an update, I’ve been in touch with PALS again & haven’t had a response from them either.
DD is disabled with a chronic illness, Paediatrican has barely needed to be involved aside from organising some bloods as specialists have primary responsibility for managing the condition. Now several other complications have arisen which require addressing & further investigations for which we need them to oversee, refer on & manage. What’s a reasonable timeframe to expect them to reallocate a consultant, I feel like I need to escalate this it’s causing me huge amounts of stress
