Saturday morning i noticed LO right nostril was red ever so slightly inflamed. Didn't think much of it. He went into nursery today and they think it's the start of impetigo?? I'm a first time parent so unsure how it looks etc. We are due to go abroad on holiday on Friday 😅 should I book in with GP tomorrow just in case ?

Impetigo?

No,looks like dried snot. Good wash with a warm flannel should sort it out.

If you’re in the UK, impetigo is one of the things pharmacists can now treat, so i’d head to a pharmacy and they can assess, much easier than GP

Actually just as easy for me to get to the GP luckily. Can get same day appointments as live in a very small village
