I will start by saying, I almost lost my 5 year old to sepsis a few years ago so I’m no longer rational when it comes to illness and freak out.

My 20 month old daughter started vomiting at 1:30am this morning; she’s vomited a lot and had 1 bout of diarrhoea. She is drinking water, had a rehydration sachet and breast milk. No food all day. She has slept pretty much all day.
We saw the GP at 2, who very kindly assessed her due to what happened with my son and they knows very well and want to reassure me.
He said he if she is weeing then she’s okay, she’s only had a small wee since the appointment but that’s okay isn’t it? She’s kept an ice lolly down and some breast milk now for over an hour.

Am I doing everything right? I’m really really worrying. Please be gentle with me!

It sounds like you've done all the right things, including seeking medical advice. I think you'll have to wait for it to pass, which hopefully won't be long now that an ice lolly has stayed put! I get how worried you are (hug)

I feel you. My son has been in hospital several times due to airway issues and I immediately jump to the worst case scenario whenever he is sick. Hopefully she's feeling better today but it sounds like you've done everything right
