Baby making Choking / Gagging noises

Hi All
Has anyone ever had any experience of their baby waking up making choking noises? My baby is 11 weeks old, and has woken up at 3am for the last few nights making choking / gagging noises. He hasn’t fed for a few hours at this point, so I know he’s not choking on anything from his immediate feed. I’m pretty sure he had Covid recently - and his 2 year old brother is still coughing throughout the night, approximately 3 weeks after having what we very much think was Covid - do you think it might just be mucus he’s trying to cough up that’s on his chest, or something more serious I should get checked out? When he makes these noises, he’s not struggling to breathe / blue or red in the face, and he recovers very quickly. He’s also done it a few times during the day over the last few weeks but I’ve noticed it most at the 3am ish point for the last few days. He has no issues with feeding, and he’s a generally very happy baby. However, he does have a tendency to sound like a little pug when he’s awake!
Any thoughts? As a mum, we tend to feel when something isn’t right- but am I being too lax about this?
Thank you!!!!

Sorry I missed your comment!! He’s fine now, thank you. I called 111 when it happened in the night and they called me back 7 hours later and said to take him to A&E. I really didn’t think this was necessary- particularly 7 hours after the last incident - so went to the GP on the Monday. The doctor agreed with me that there was nothing ‘wrong’ and an A&E trip would’ve been pointless - he’s completely stopped doing it now so I absolutely think it was the Covid and having phlegm on his lungs that he wasn’t able to cough up!
