Tick bite?

DD (2yo) had her sports day last Friday and I noticed a bite on her leg that looked like some sort of mosquito bite and she wasn’t complaining so I left it.

It’s now been 6 days and this is what it looks like.. do you think it could be a tick? I was going to ring the GP today but don’t want to rock up with a mosquito bite..she said it doesn’t hurt or itch but I’m worried about the rash. (photo may take a min to upload).

Caveat: not an HCP

But that doesn’t look like a bulls-eye to me? I would guess it’s just an infected or inflamed normal bite from something (probably mozzie).
Draw around the edge of the rash with a biro now, and you can see tomorrow if it has spread further. Also watch out for signs of more significant infection.
You could always ask the pharmacist to have a look?

You can see a pharmacist for insect bites, I agree that it doesn't look like a tick bite to me.

Tick bites do not require any treatment unless the characteristic bullseye rash develops.
Unfortunately HCPs are very rarely able to identify what has bitten someone just by looking at the mark (we get asked a lot)

Thanks everyone, I spoke to a GP today who (without actually seeing it) advised to go to a minor injuries unit this evening.. but rather than drag DD to sit there for hours past bedtime I’m going to go to a pharmacy tomorrow and ask them first. She’s not actually complaining of any pain, it’s just the rash that made me panic.
