I was just wondering what the process is like, as my 3 year old has been diagnosed with Cerebral Palay, so we are trying to get funding for a larger disability pushchair, as he wont fit in normal ones as he is quite tall for his age.

The Trust supports disadvantaged children who are physically disabled or in poverty, up to age 18.

Have you visited their website? If you contact them, they will tell you if DS comes into their conditions and apply.

If you join SCOPE they will have more information, and they have a chat room similar to this where you can ask members about their experience.

I hope you get the extra help. It is traumatising to have a disabled child. Parents need far more help with disabled children than many people realise.
