DLA annoying!

I waited 5 months for my child’s DLA decision to be declined because they lost her evidence! I’m so frustrated. Now I have to do a mandatory reconsideration. Does anyone know if we will go right to the back of the queue now and have to wait another 25 week! Seems so unfair.

It’ll unfortunately go to the back of the queue. MRs are taking around 30 weeks.
did they admit to loosing her evidence? Did you send it all together with the forms?

I sent all the most important parts of evidence later into the claim as I was waiting on professionals to write supporting letters. I called weekly to see if it had been received. I kept being told it just takes a little while to be scanned onto the system but 6 weeks went by and nothing still. I even said I would re send and was told not to because it creates a bigger backlog and it would eventually be added to my child’s claim. And then it was too late. They made the decision without it!
