cCMV - delayed effects

My daughter is 13, in Y8. Just before she turned 12, she suddenly lost her hearing in her right ear. A year later, we found out that she had congenital CMV (Cytomegalovirus) after testing the blood on her heel prick test card (she was asymptomaticat birth). She has a hearing aid and seems to function relatively well, although we are also looking into possible autism/ADD. We are unsure about what her future looks like, whether things can get worse or not. Anyone else have such a big delay in the onset of CMV effects?
