Oral thrush in newborn - drowsy from medication?

My 3 week old baby has oral thrush and has been taking Nystatin since Saturday. I have noticed since he started taking the medication he has been sleeping a lot more. He was really sleepy the week after he was born then was starting to be more alert during the day, but now suddenly he is back to sleeping pretty much the entire day.

He is still waking up to feed every 3 hours and is drinking the usual amount of food and doesn’t appear unwell. Has anyone else noticed their baby is more sleepy than usual either with oral thrush or when taking nystatin? I have sent the HV a message, however as it is a bank holiday I won’t hear back until tomorrow.

Can't say I noticed this with mine, the main side effect we had was green vomit :/
