Is this a verruca? White patch on toe

My DD has developed this white patch on the bottom of her big toe. It doesn't hurt or itch and I'm not sure what it is. Verucca perhaps but I thought they would be harder and more wart like. This is more like discoloured skin that feels like skin. It's been there around 3 days

Dry skin? Or it could be athletes foot. You are best to go chemist for advise.

Thanks. We have been to the pharmacy. They aren't sure what it is but they're pretty sure it's not fungal and not a verruca

Could it be a corn?

Could it be a corn?

Sorry - I've only just seen your reply. Thanks for the suggestion. I'm pretty sure it's not a corn as it's very soft and doesn't hurt when pressed. It's weird actually as it goes away and then comes back. I'm wondering if it's something to do with DD's new sandals but they're the same brand she's had several years running.
