Metanium Cream mourning

Just wondering if anyone else has actually managed to find a decent replacement for Metanium cream since it sadly left us? It's the only thing that has ever helped my child with her Nappy rash. Miss it so much 😂

Sudosalve is good when they're really sore. Made by the same company as sudocrem but different product entirely.
I think it stings when it goes on though.

Metanium is gone? That really is worth mourning, it was the absolute best 😔

I really like the purple weleda one, it cleared a nasty nappy rash for my one year old very quickly I’m not sure I’ve seen it in the shops in the uk though but maybe online.

Yeah, the company said they couldn't get the ingredients any more so they stopped making it instead of making a product which isn't as good. Respect to them for that!

Oh they don’t make it anymore? That’s a shame. I have an unopened tube in the bathroom cabinet if anyone wants it!

I'm missing it a lot also.

Ive found sudocream and then a thin layer of Vaseline on top, I do it every nappy change and haven't had a sore bum since I started doing it

@RedPandaFluff if you still have this I’d be willing to buy this off you! My newborn has awful nappy rash and I’m desperate!

Just wanted to say, there is a new nappy spray out by Ashton and Parsons - it’s called soothing nappy spray. It has the same ingredients as Metanium, it is unbelievable!! It’s a spray so don’t have to wipe it, it’s white so nothing gets ruined. Dare I say, it cleared up my daughter’s rash faster than Metanium did?? So good! I got it from Tesco.
