Hi. My 11 yr old daughter seems to have been experiencing monthly PMS including cramps and emotional imbalance for at least six months now, but she hasn't had any bleeding. It seems to be in sync with my own periods, although i haven't mention this to my daughter.

i cant find any information about this when i google it. Only possible health concerns for it happening in adults. Has anyone elses daughter experience this? I don't remember it happening to me. Should i take her to the doctor? TIA

Hi,
She might be picking up on your hormones. Has she or you noticed her starting to get discharge? Usually 6-12 months before first period this begins. I would say she will probably start her periods soon so be prepared.

My dd definitely had the pms before the actual periods started.

Just adding that she has been getting discharge for more than a year and breasts been growing more than two years so we’ve been preparing for them to start for a long time and every month she just gets the pains without any bleeding.

Yes she’s been getting it more than a year now so that’s why I’m surprised they haven’t started yet and wonder if something is wrong.

I doubt anything is wrong, By the sound of things she is very close to starting. She might even start the same time you come on. Is she nervous about starting or is she wanting to start? Has any of her friends started yet?
