Cradle cap brush before its too late!

Hi! Can anyone recommend a cradle cap brush/method which actually works, and doesn’t involve a billion steps as the Frida one seems to require? Our little one hates baths enough as it is!
Our first DS had cradle cap, 3 years later and I think some of it has blocked his follicles as he now has super fine hair in patches. 😩

I found coconut oil rubbed into the scalp left for as long as I could, washed normally and then combed through first with a baby comb and then with a nit comb to get the last bits
