Weird rash on 2yr old toddler

Our 2 year old toddler has had what we thought was eczema for quite some time - had steroid cream from Drs and bath solution which cleared it up but it seems to have come back with a vengeance.

we’re now in Spain for the week and it’s just getting worse.

Any ideas what this could be? We do plan to take her to Drs next week when home but I’m so perplexed by it and how it keeps coming about. She has the typical behind the knee/elbow crease eczema which clears up with the steroid cream but the torso and legs just isn’t getting anywhere.

Could she be allergic to the sun cream you're using?

Your daughter has eczema in the classic places and in the places I have it right now.

I know some people's eczema is aggravated by chlorine. Salt water is usually good for it (works wonders on my skin). But everyone is different.

I recently had a big flare up and someone recommended Cerave products. I think you should be able to buy it in Spain (I think it is a French brand). It has actually worked brilliantly on my skin. Not sure if they do a sun cream, I am hoping they do. I have been slathering it on overnight and it has really calmed my skin and the urge to scratch.

If she doesn't scratch and the rash is little red bumps, it might be prickly heat.

It's really is a process of elimination with eczema.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday.
