Frequent headaches

Just looking for a bit of a handhold as I’m worried ☹️DD9 has been having frequent headaches the last few weeks - around 3
a day. They don’t last long and never need pain meds, they pass on their own but the frequency has me worried. No real pattern to them, they happen in the car, if she’s feeling anxious or upset and this last week they’ve happened when she’s been out in the sun. Also often coincides with a sore tummy that passes quickly
too.

GP not concerned and told me to keep an 8 week headache diary and will review it then but I’m worried in case its something that needs seen sooner☹️

Has anyone been through anything similar?

If they happen in the car could they be related to feeling car sick without realising, maybe she needs some sunglasses or a hat if she’s in the sun. I would get her eyes tested sooner. Have you tried giving her some paracetamol to see if it stops them coming back in the day? It could well be anxiety related, anxiety often represents as real symptoms.

That’s so helpful, she is very anxious at the moment (I’m not sure why, trying to get to the bottom of that). I’ll bring the eye test forward too, thank you so much for replying
