My daughter has been feeling nausea every morning before school, we’ve put it down. To anxiety, stomach ache etc but she’s been saying she needs to wee a lot, then goes doesn’t need to go in end. Checked for uti and nothing all clear, someone said maybe starting periods hence the anxiety aswell but how long do symptoms start before hand? Her friends just started she’s 9 and she was complaining of tummy ache before but not sure about the nausea or weeing a lot. I’m very anxious myself and I’m just worried if it’s something else more serious. It’s so draining having to get her up cos she feels sick she doesn’t wanna get up for school then I get her there and she starts panicking.

please help anyone else gone through this or had similar symptoms together

How long has this been going on for?

My DD (8) gets this when she's generally a little anxious re school. She'll have a little phase of it and then it settles down. It mostly manifested in multiple trips to the bathroom at bedtime without anything happening.

She also gets one-off incidences if she's in a situation where a toilet is really not available (like getting on a ride at a theme park). She actually worked out for herself that this sort of situation brings it on and now she knows it's 'not real' she can work through it.
