3yo knocked front teeth - discolouration - what now?

2 weeks ago my 3 year old fell and knocked her 2 front teeth. Her gums bled a tiny bit and she got a bit of a swollen top lip for a couple of days. She said it hurt to bite down on hard things later that day but is otherwise has been fine. It’s been not wobbly or moved but today we noticed one of the teeth is slightly grey. Wondering if anyone has experienced similar and what happened please? Will it get darker or fall out? Or whiten up? X

Don’t know how typical this is, but after a knock one of my 3 yo’s front teeth gradually turned grey.

After 2 or so years the greyness had become really obvious. Then an angry red coloured boil developed on the gum line near the root of that front tooth.

One dentist’s view was to just ignore the greyness and the red boil.

We sought a second opinion, and the second dentist said that the tooth had to be extracted, because of that boil. So, the tooth has been extracted.

My DS fell and knocked his front tooth at the age of 3. Pushed it back slightly and it went grey. Dentist said to leave it and was checked at each check up. When it fell out, the adult tooth came in healthy and fine.

The tooth is bruised. Sometimes it goes back to being white again (but not as white as normal) and other times it gets darker depending on the damage. My son did it to his front one. Luckily his has gone white again but they don't like removing children's teeth even if they are grey.
